If you haven’t heard of Care/Of Vitamins, you’ll want to stay tuned. What I love most about these are you can get everything you want, all the vitamins and minerals you are looking for, in one packet that you take daily, and you get enough to last you all month. Plus, if you don’t know what you are looking for, you can take a quiz that will then put together the perfect packet of vitamins for what you are hoping to get out of your vitamins.

For this how to care of vitamins post, I want to focus talk about two parts. The first being that you can pick and choose what vitamins and minerals you want. And then the second being the quiz you can take & them picking the vitamins & minerals for you.

So, Care Of is a great option if:

  • you know the vitamins & minerals you want to take
  • you know what you want to get out of your vitamins (more energy, improve skin/nails, improve stress level, etc.)

Again, let’s break this how to care of vitamins into two sections. Selection your vitamins & minerals and taking the quiz & them selecting them for you.

Let’s start with selecting your vitamins & minerals and creating your own pack first.

Create Your Own Pack

Being able to create your own pack of vitamins is great if you know exactly what you want. If you are looking to just fill in some of the vitamins and minerals you are missing in your diet, again, this is a good option for you.

With Care/Of, when building a pack of your own, they have 5 main categories:

  • vitamins
  • minerals
  • herbs
  • probiotics
  • specialty

With the vitamins that Care/Of offers, the vitamins resemble the same vitamins you would be getting from the food you eat. I love this because your body will know exactly what to do with the vitamins then, they aren’t foreign. They are also easily digestible. The vitamins you can pick from are:

  • B-Complex
  • Vitamin B12
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin D
  • Vegan D
  • Vitamin K12
  • Prenatal
  • multivitamin

As you can see, Care/Of is another great option for if you are looking for prenatal vitamins to take. They, again, will put them into a single packet that you’ll take daily & you’ll have enough to last you all month. So it is easy to take and easy to remember to take them when they are divided out into monthly packets!

For minerals, we need these for our bodies to function properly. And in my opinion, minerals are harder to get just from our diet, so have a supplement for these are really nice. The minerals you can pick from on the Care/Of website are:

  • calcium plus
  • iron
  • magnesium
  • zinc

I think calcium is one that is often overlooked! Especially with so many people drinking non-dairy milk, you should be supplementing calcium into your diet!

Another category you can pick and choose from is herbs. This probably isn’t a category you think about when thinking about taking a vitamin but don’t underestimate the power of herbs! Herbal supplements are made from plants, and I truly believe that the greatest things for our bodies are what we find around us in nature. The herbs you can pick from are:

  • American ginseng
  • ashwagandha
  • elderberry
  • garlic
  • milk thistle
  • rhodiola
  • shatavari
  • turmeric
  • cranberry

If you aren’t familiar with any of these herbs, you can go to the Care/Of website and read about each of them. I wrote a post about elderberry syrup that you can read here, elderberries are awesome – especially for your immune system!

Probiotics are another category that you can pick from. Probiotics are the good bacteria that is going to help you with your digestion. The two you can pick from for probitoics are a probiotic blend and S.boulardii.

The last category you can pick from is specialty. These are a wide range of supplements that are sourced from the best natural environments. For these, you can pick from the following:

  • Adaptogenic Mushcrooms
  • Astaxanthin
  • CoQ10
  • Ceramides
  • fish oil
  • keratin
  • vegetarian collagen
  • veggie omega

Again, those are great options for vitamins & minerals if you know what you are looking for. But, if you don’t know what you want – taking the quiz is a great option! For example,

Take the Quiz – Personalized Vitamins Based on Your Desires

The quiz will take less than 5 minutes. It will ask your name in the beginning because each pack of vitamin of you get is personalized FOR YOU, so it will have your name on it 🙂

If you still aren’t sure about it, let’s walk through a how to for this.

Starting out, it will ask you some starter questions like have you taken vitamins in the past, how many do you currently take, if you are male or female, age, etc. All of these questions are designed at getting you the perfect vitamin for your wants/needs/age/etc. So answer all of them honestly 🙂

Again, what is so nice about this quiz is it walks you through things step by step. So if you aren’t sure what benefits you want out of your vitamins, it will help you navigate this. Or, if you aren’t sure Care Of will work for you, it will walk you through that too.

There will come a point in the quiz where it asks you what you think, what’s on your mind, for these vitamins. Do you have a specific need in mind that you want vitamins for? Do you just want to improve your overall health? Or are you just looking to discover something new? Pick one & start diving into the good stuff with the quiz 🙂

Here is where I think it gets fun because you can start focusing on what you want to improve. You can pick from many options including stress, energy, fitness, digestion and so many more. So, if you are looking to improve your digestion and stress level, select those. It will ask you to pick 3-5 of them.

care of

From those (the 3 to 5) that you selected, it will ask you to pick the one you want to focus on most. Depending on what one you selected, it will continue to ask you questions around that goal. So, if you selected that you wanted to focus most on your immunity, it will ask you questions regarding your lifestyle and immunity. Again, this will just help them find the perfect vitamins based on your goals and lifestyle.

As you go through the questions, it will continue to ask you questions regarding your goals. Just work your way through the questions and answer them honestly.

It will also ask you some questions about your diet and some allergies. For example, the amount of fruits/vegetables, meat/seafood and dairy you eat. It will also walk you through if you have any allergies. This is important because if you do have food allergies, you could be missing some important vitamins and minerals from your diet.

Along with allergies, it will ask you about your preferences around your diet. If you prefer vegan, vegetarian, plant based, dairy free, gluten free, etc. Again, this is important for two reasons. One, so they don’t recommend any vitamins that go against your diet. But two, so that they can recommend vitamins and minerals that you may be missing in your diet.

The last section will ask you some more personal questions. If you are female, it will be around your menstrual cycle (frequency, symptoms, etc.), birth control, etc.

The last section of the quiz will be showing your results. What is unique about this, is you have different options. So if you don’t want to take a typical vitamin, you can pick a different method. We’ll move into your results next.

Your Recommendations

For some, taking “pills” or vitamins is really difficult. It can be really hard for some to swallow vitamins. Which is why I love that Care/Of offers different methods for getting those vitamins and minerals.

care of vitamins and minerals

One option you have are your traditional vitamins. These are the pill form and will come in a little packet that you take every day. I mentioned this before, but each packet will have your name on it and all of the vitamins and minerals you need for the day.

Another option you have is powder form. With the powders, you can treat them like you would protein powder – by mixing them with smoothies or other food to take them.

The last option you have is quick sticks. You can think of these as those flavored drink packets you add to your water. They work the same way except they are packed full of the vitamins and nutrients you need. This option is designed for on-the-go!

You also can pick more than one option. For example, say you want to take your vitamin packs every day but also want some quick sticks for when you are out and about. You can do that!

Once you select which option you want, it will show you your results. Following the example above, saying I wanted vitamin packs and also quick sticks, it will show me what is included in my vitamin packs and also what my quick sticks are.

care of vitamins quick sticks

Above are the recommendations from my quick. Based on the goals that I wanted to focus on, these are the vitamins I should be taking and the quick sticks they recommend. They even explain why those vitamins are minerals are in your pack.

So, based on how I answered the quiz questions, that is obviously why they included them. But you can see that B-Complex is included because I am on a gluten-free diet. You can click on each vitamin listed and see why they recommended that for you and learn more about it! All of those vitamins listed will be in one packet that you take daily & you will get enough packets to last you a month!

After reviewing the recommendations, you can click “continue” to checkout. Here, you can take out whatever vitamins or products you don’t want. So if you selected the vitamin packs but don’t want “calcium” that they recommended you take, you can take that out of your cart and it won’t be included in your vitamin pack!

Super simple! This is a great way to make sure you are not only getting all of the vitamins and minerals you need, but also the vitamins and minerals you need to meet the goals you want to achieve. So whether you want to focus on your skin, hair and nails, or you want to focus on your immunity and bone health – you can find the perfect vitamins and minerals you need for this.
